How To Keep Your MLM Blog From Being Lonely

Earlier this week I gave you some practical steps for setting up your network marketing blog , now I want to discuss how you can keep your MLM blog from being lonely. Ideally your blog will become the nerve center for your entire online marketing operation; however, unlike the movie Field of Dreams the principle of “If you build it, they will come…” does not apply. Once your blog is up and running your focus turns to traffic generation. Today I want to share with you some powerful steps that will keep your blog hopping with new and returning visitors.

Keyword Research is the Foundation of Your MLM Blog

The first step of generating traffic begins with your keyword research. For starters, your blog should have a targeted keyword in the name, in the meta description and in the meta keywords. For example this blog targets the key phrase “network marketing online.” This process of keyword research carries on into your blog entries as well. You should be building your posts around a keyword or phrase. Google’s keyword tool will help you find great keywords and phrases. This word or phrase you select should be used in the title, first sentence and other areas throughout your blog entry. It is important that you not overload your document with the keyword or phrase, but use it in a reasonable manner along with other similar words (ie: MLM, network marketing, multi level marketing, etc….).

Once you’ve determined your keyword or phrase, it is time to put some sizzle into the title of your blog entry. In addition you will want to link your blog to your Facebook account through Networked Blogs and also link it to your Twitter account. Your next step is to send out a ping to notify the blogging world of your new entry. I would recommend at the very least that you visit pingomatic.com and pingmyblog.com . These two pinging services will inform the major blog directories that you have added new content. In a similar vein, you will also want to submit your RSS feed to several of the top RSS directories, so that your blog’s feed is listed.

2 Strategies That Will Turbocharge Your MLM Blog

The next two strategies I’m going to share with you are powerful steps that will give you long lasting results. The first is article marketing. Each time you make a blog post, you will want re-write that post and then submit it to several online article directories, via an article submission program. Just as you did in the original post, use your keywords in the article title and create a title with high EMV. In the resource box of your article you will use the keyword of your title as anchor text that links to your original blog entry. This identifies your blog entry as an authority source on that particular keyword or phrase.

You can also do a similar thing with video marketing. Make a video that is approximately 30 seconds to 2 minutes in length that previews your blog post. Point people back to your blog post by putting the original link into your video description. You will again want to use the keyword or phrase in your video title and create a title with high EMV.

By taking the time to implement these powerful steps, there should never be any lonely days or lonely nights for your MLM blog.
