Using Niche PLR To Make Content Marketing Easier

Using niche PLR is a great way to leverage the power of content marketing without having to spend countless hours creating content.  For those of you who may not be familiar with what I am talking about, PLR simply means Private Label Rights.   This simply means that the buyer of this content has the right to edit the content, repackage the content, claim it as their own, use it as a giveaway and in some cases this content can even be sold.   Niche PLR could include articles, blog posts, autoresponders series, ebooks, video and even software that applies to a particular target market or interest.

Why Use Niche PLR

Content marketing is one of the most powerful forms of marketing on the internet.  Typically, content marketing takes the form of blogging or article marketing.   The power of this type of marketing strategy comes from the residual results that can be obtained from a single piece of content.  The drawback with content marketing for most people comes from the actual process of creating content.  Many people find that they are hindered by such things as writer’s block or a simple lack of creativity.

There are typically two solutions this common problem.  The first is the hiring of a writer to create content for you based on chosen keywords.   While there are writers who will create articles cheap, it has been my experience that a well written article with good English grammar will cost anywhere from $5-$7 per article for a 500 word article.   The second alternative is the use of niche PLR.  Private label right articles are available either individually or sold in bundles pertaining to a specific idea or concept.   Depending upon the seller individual articles may sell for as low as $1-$2 per article or in bundles as low as $10 for 50 articles.  By eliminating the issues of creativity, the marketer can focus on simply publishing and syndication.

Effective Use Of Niche PLR

When you first begin using PLR content, you may find that some of the content you purchase is poorly written and unusable; however, you will begin to find vendors who offer higher quality content.   Typically a good niche PLR provider will be priced slightly higher than lower quality vendors, since they are providing higher quality content.   Another indicator of a good content provider is whether or not they have licensing restrictions to their content.   Ideally it is best work with a provider that only licenses a few hundred copies of any piece of content, thus eliminating high levels of duplication.

It is recommended that you rework any piece of private label content to make it unique and distinct from others that have been purchased and published, since most users won’t take the time to modify the content in any way.  When modifying the PLR you can simply paraphrase the content yourself, pay someone to do it for you or use a content spinner.   I personally use Spinner Chief for my content spinning.

If you want to go even further with your content marketing, take a spun copy of the original content and submit it to multiple article directories.  In the resource box you will link back to your original blog post, using the keyword or phrase you are targeting as anchor text.  By taking this additional steps you can create significant backlinks to the original content which will help to improve your search engine rankings.
