A Mistake I Never Intended On Making – I Forgot To Build A Network Marketing Community Along The Way

It was such a nice day here in South Texas,
that I decided to leave my computer behind
and head out for a walk…

…Along the way I pulled out my phone and
recorded some thoughts (sorry for the views
of my chin)..

I started out with my back against the wall…

…I had been the Senior Pastor of a church that
had run into financial trouble…

…The church could no longer survive if they
continue to pay us.

In the end, all of us on staff would find ourselves
let go…

This was a defining moment for me. What would I do?

I decided to forge out a new path for my ministry…

…Instead of turning around troubled churches, I would
start churches from scratch…

Just one problem…

…How would I support myself and my family?

I turned to online network marketing.

…I’ll never forget the day I got my first
commission check. It was less than $15, but
I felt like I could conquer the world at that
moment…

…As the months went by, I continued to learn
my craft…

As my skills improved, so did the results…

…After many months of blood, sweat and tears
the rewards were beginning to show themselves.

New team members were coming on board and my
organizations began to grow…

…This pattern continued for a number of months,
until one day I realized…

…I was still doing all of the work and had
somehow missed out on the synergy of the team.

What had gone wrong?

…I had a training site
…I was doing webinars
…I was keeping my teams informed

Then it clicked…

…I had built a network marketing organization

BUT

… I had failed to build a network marketing community

I’ve been leading churches for years and one of
the key focal points for a church to be healthy
