Haven’t You Had Enough? It’s Time For Your Defining Moment!
This morning I sent this message out to my subscriber list. It is my story, very real, very personal and at times very difficult. As you read this story, begin to look at yourself…not just the outside, but down deep.
Defining moments…
The place where you decide….enough is enough!
…Once you cross that moment….
There is no turning back….
Most people who end up on my mailing list
fall into one of two categories….
….those who are in serious trouble and need to
turn their situation around…
…and those who believe, but lack the skills necessary
to get them to the next level…
So which one are you?
I hit my defining moment 3 years ago….
….I had started a ministry in November of 2008 and
I had been trying to build a traditional network marketing
business….
…But I was failing miserably
The truth is I fit both of those categories….
…I decided to take the easy road and set out to
look for work
Deep inside I knew I was giving up on my dreams,
but I just didn’t think I could do it….
…maybe you know that feeling all too well
Fortunately for me, my wife was not willing to let
me do that…
We’ve been married almost 24 years now, and in that
time Carol has only yelled at me twice….
…this was one of those times
I begged and pleaded with her to let me quit….
….We could lose everything….I exclaimed!
With tears in her eyes, she said “I know”…
…but she was not going to let me give up on
my dreams…
I would love to tell you the journey has been
easy…
I would love to tell you that from that moment
on, the money came pouring in….
….but I would be a liar and you would be misguided….
The reality is that within 4 months our family was forced
out of our home and we would end up living with friends for
nearly 20 months…
….However something amazing happened that day….
I decided there was no turning back…
….the dream was worth the cost
I’ve seen God provide for me many times throughout
my life and I knew that He would sustain me, if I would
stay in the game and fight…
…so where did I begin?
I chose the tools that gave me the best chance for success
and I put my blinders on….
…quitting was not an option
…giving up because I hadn’t made any money in my first 30 days was not an option
…no excuse was valid…where there’s a will there’s a way
I realized that no business or program would change
my outcomes….only I could
….slowly but surely my circumstances began to change,
because I began to change
Some of you are failing right now because
you haven’t decided that enough is enough…
…You’re still making excuses for your failure
….it was a bad business
….my upline wouldn’t help me
….I couldn’t afford it
Your failure is evidenced in your constant jump from
one opportunity to the next….
….Your unwillingness to invest in the tools and resources
that will give you the greatest opportunity for success….
…Your unteachable spirit
Today I want to challenge you to make a decision….
….to get in the game and stay in the game!
You see, the excuses you make for yourself are the same
excuses you will take from everyone else….
Here is some additional food for thought on that subject:
3 years ago, my wife did me a favor by calling me out…
…so today I’m going to call you out
Were you really serious about making money online or
do you just enjoy wasting your time, your family’s time
and the time of the people who try to help you?
If you are really serious, then it’s time to take action….
Choose today the course ahead and burn the bridge behind you…
There can be no turning back!
