It’s no secret that requires a lot of hard work, enough knowledge and the right set of skills in order to succeed. For newbies, these qualities may seem so hard to come by. They need the help of mentors who can guide them on their way to success.

By becoming a mentor, you’re not only empowering others to do good in their business, you’re also expanding your team in the process.

Lead by Example

Practice what you preach. Walk the talk. These are just some of the common phrases we hear from people. If you want to become a mentor, you should learn to live by these words. How are you able to teach your downlines to make a sale if you haven’t sell anything yourself? How can you train other people to prospect if you can’t even recruit any person into your team? You can’t just teach a person something without having done it yourself. Remember that people follow your actions, not your unproven words.

Love your People

You cannot lead your people without loving them, period. It’s part of the package of becoming a mentor. Love your downlines for they will help you reach success. Love them for they will help you grow your team and your profits exponentially. Listen to their problems and become a friend who’s always ready to offer your help. Put their best interest at heart and they will place their ultimate trust and confidence in you. In turn, this will motivate them to do better.

Train and Empower your People

If you’re achieving personal growth but your people are being left behind, then you’re not doing a good job at becoming a mentor. If you want to be a mentor, you need to learn how to grow your organization. You can only do this by teaching your people grow. You can’t just keep on providing solution to all their problems. You can’t keep them from the big, bad world. They need to learn how to do it themselves. And eventually, they need to teach their own people to do the same way. Get them into training and help them achieve the best that they can be. Train them and be with them every step of the way. Watch them grow and provide input when needed.

Then you can finally say: “I have led by example, loved my people, trained them, motivated them, and empowered them towards success.”
