Your Network Marketing Business Does Not Include An Easy Button!

Your Network Marketing Business Does Not Include An Easy Button!

I find it so amazing how many people start a network marketing business with a fairy tale mindset.  Each week I talk to people who want me to point them to some magical shortcut or easy button that is going to allow them to circumvent the work of building their business.  They don’t want to spend money on their business and they don’t want to invest time in their business; yet, they somehow think they are going to resolve all of their financial aspirations with this same business.

The Network Marketing Business

There is a that should be done by anyone considering entering into a network marketing business.  This should evaluate three key ingredients that need to be in place, if a person is going to have any success in this industry.   These ingredients are a , commitment and drive.

Let me start with the .  Your dream is often referred to as your “why.”  It is the reason why you are considering network marketing in the first place.  This why could be a simple as getting out of debt or as grand as funding a humanitarian relief effort.  Your why sets the desired outcome of your business.  This desired outcome becomes the true north behind everything that you do.  Without this guiding dream you will lack focus, wandering around aimlessly with no clear direction.  Your dream identifies where you are going and gives purpose to your day to day efforts.

Once your dream is in place, commitment must be established.  Without commitment is much too easy to give up and quit.  Commitment requires a decision of the heart and mind that you will continue on this journey until you’ve reached your final destination.  You vow to let no obstacle distract you or thwart you from reaching that goal.  When things get difficult, you will simply choose to dig in and push forward that much harder, but quitting is never an option under any circumstance.

The final ingredient is drive.  Drive puts feet to your commitment.  Drive is the motivation to do the work necessary to fulfill your commitment for as long as it takes to reach your goals.  This is the difference between sitting down to your computer and writing articles for 2 hours as opposed to using that same 2 hours to surf the web.  It is this same quality that will cause you to spend the time in webinars and training sessions learning new skills that will make your time more effective and productive.

When all is said and done, you have to remember that this is YOUR network marketing business.

In the end it will be YOUR dream, commitment and drive that determine whether or not your succeed or fail.
