Three Steps To Improve Your Landing Pages

are one of the the primary tools for anyone network marketing online to connect with their prospective audience.   What the sees when they arrive has a great bearing on whether they will look closer or move on.    Additionally this is the place where brand identity will be established.

Most network marketers put very little thought into the landing pages that they are presenting to the public.   Most are happy to simply utilize their company replicated website or a company provided landing page.   On the surface this may seem like a prudent practice, but when you step back and look at the bigger picture the fallacy of this line of thinking becomes apparent.   In all likelihood there are literally thousands if not tens of thousands of other network marketers promoting the same company, product and opportunity as you are.   Most if not all of these distributors will be utilizing the same replicated landing pages.   When a encounters these marketing pieces, the branding that takes place is the branding of the company or the product and not the individual distributor.   This means that the will have no loyalty towards the introducing distributor, because the marketing piece makes the company the point of focus.   If the moves on from this initial point of contact it is unlikely that they will return.

There are three simple steps that anyone serious about building their network marketing business online, should be taking with their landing pages.   These steps will not only assist in branding the individual marketer as a leader, but they will also aid in creating more leads and improving overall conversions.

For starters, a marketer should create a uniquely branded landing page that becomes the focal point of their promotion.  Although the information you present on that page may be identical to that presented on the company replicated page, the fact that it is unique will help set it apart from the rest of the field.   Thank of it in these terms.  If you were driving past a field of brown cows and there was one black and white spotted cow in the field with the others, which cow would you naturally take notice of and remember?   The black and white cow of course, because it is unique to the surroundings.   The same principle applies to your landing pages.  When they are unique they stand out from the replicated pages being used by other distributors in your company and even those being used by your competition.  This page should be kept very simple.  Use a headline that grabs the attention of the prospect and a no more than 3 or 4 bullet points, plus a call to some type of action.

The next step for improving your landing pages is the use of  video.   Statistically, pages that utilize video convert to some type of action at nearly 3 times the level of pages that use a photograph or no image at all.   Video is one of the greatest tools for quickly capturing a person’s attention.   It is important that you set your video to play automatically when the page is loaded.  With a Youtube video this accomplished the use of the autoplay command in the embedding code.  Your video should be short, no more than 30 seconds ideally.  The content of the video is simply an attention grabbing statement, a few bullet points and a call to action.

The final step to improving your landing pages is accomplished through a response mechanism.   Most generally this will be done through the use of a contact form.   The information contained on your landing page should direct the prospect to utilize the contact form to gather further information from you.   If your company has a contact management system, a variation on this concept is to direct the prospect to click on the button or banner located directly beneath your video.   This at times can be even more effective at gathering the contact information of the prospect, because of the psychological effect of having said “yes” by clicking the button.

These are three simple steps that anyone can take to improve the landing pages for their MLM business.   When these steps are implemented with a proactive lead generation strategy the results can be extremely profitable.
