I have received some great success tips in network marketing from many great leaders in the industry.  I would like to share some of these tips for success with you in hopes that you can find some powerful footholds for your network marketing business.

The first great tip is:  Understand your “why.”  Each of us has a reason “why” we began a network marketing business.  There was some dream, goal or aspiration that we caught vision of and in that moment we recognized the possibilities of going into business for ourselves.   When we take the time to understand our reasons, we begin to develop deep convictions about our need to reach those preferred future outcomes.   Ultimately, the thought of turning away from those outcomes is not even a consideration.   The development of this inner conviction bring us to the next tip.

The next tip is:  Make a commitment.  Making a commitment to stay with the business until you have reached your goals is critical.   The time to make that commitment is on the front end when you are first getting started.  These commitments become even more real to us when they are put in writing.  I would encourage you to write out your commitment to go the distance with your business.  By making a commitment to your business, you will find the courage to push forward even when things are tough.

The next tip is:  Brand yourself.  Too many network marketers fail to realize that they are the most important componet in their business.  Above and beyond the product or opportunity a successful network marketer promotes themself.  The reasoning behind this is simple.  People are more apt to buy from and join people they know and trust.  There are literally thousands of other distributors marketing the same products and opportunity.  It is your self promotion that sets you apart from the crowd.  Secondarily, if a marketer has not effectively branded themselves, they are married to their product or opportunity.  This leaves them few options should they need to switch companies at some point; however, if they have properly branded themselves in the marketplace, their customer base will simply make the shift with them.

The next tip is:  Create a high volume lead generation system.   Your business will never get off the ground if you run out of people to talk to.  By creating and implementing a system, you ensure that you are always putting yourself in front of numerous new prospects.   High volume lead generation refers to the utilization of mass marketing tools to create those leads.  These could include such things as newspaper advertising, social media and pay per click.   Learning to generate a steady stream of new leads will help you eliminate one of the great causes of business failure – a lack of business leads.

The next tip is :  Create multiple streams of revenue.  As part of your overall marketing strategy you should offer other supporting products and services that lend themselves to your primary network marketing business.  For example in your recruiting efforts you may want to offer books or other content on business building, wealth or positive thinking.  With the sale of each of these supporting materials, you are creating funding for your primary network marketing business.   By creating avenues of cash flow into your business, you have effectively eliminated another great cause of business failure – the lack of cash flow.

The final tip is:  Surround yourself with successful people.   Great network marketers surround themselves with other great network marketers.  During their interactions they share ideas, tactics and tools that are giving them an edge in their businesses.  This type of interaction is commonly referred to as mastermind group.   By drawing on the experiences of other, both good and bad, you can leverage their knowledge to your benefit.

These are some of the greatest success tips in network marketing that I have seen implemented in many successful businesses.
