Can A Cheap MLM Lead Become A Valuable Player?
As with most things in our world, there is an assumption that the more money a person spends on something, the more valuable that something is. This line of thinking is also prevalent in the world of online MLM marketing. This brings about the question: Is a cheap MLM lead any more or any less profitable than a lead that was obtained with a higher monetary expenditure? When it comes to the principles of network marketing lead generation, more expensive does not always translate into more valuable.
This is not to say that lead source does not factor in to the overall quality of the generated lead. A lead from an article dealing with a focused topic in the realm of network marketing would generally be a higher quality lead than say a lead generated from a free classified advertising source. The difference in this example is the targeting and focus of the advertising resource. A person who clicks on a “general” advertisement is in essence window shopping. They are browsing, but not yet to the point of making a buying decision.
In reality, leads generated through content resources tend to be some of the best network marketing leads. The reason for this is fairly straight forward. These leads are coming to you through a piece of content, whether it is an article or blog post, that was created as an information resource for a targeted group. A person who is reading that piece of content is an information seeker on that particular subject or topic of interest. There are a few things that become evident simply by the source of the lead. First of all they are seeking information in the area that you are targeting. This means that the prospect is warm to the concept, in this case MLM, that you are offering information for. Secondarily, you know that this person is doing more than window shopping, they are truly giving consideration to the topic at hand. More than likely if they find the information you have provided helpful, they will be interested in hearing more of what you have to offer. They have moved beyond the role of window shopper, to the role of prospective buyer or team member.
In their quest for information, this peson has demonstrated a motivation to enhance their knowledge level. This is a highly desireable quality to have in any member of your MLM downline. You want your team to be made up of motivated individuals who will take the training and encouragement your provide and apply that to their multi level marketing business.
Remember the quality of your network marketing lead is not determined by the cost to secure that lead. Some of your greatest downline assets will start their relationship with you as a cheap MLM lead.
