Have You Bought In To Your MLM Company?
Have You Bought In To Your MLM Company?
Buying in to your MLM company is a fundamental principle of building a network marketing business. I find it astonishing the number of distributors I see who never really buy in to the business and the methods that will help them find success for the long term. Day in and day out people join an MLM company looking to better their financial future; however, many do so without having done a true gut check regarding the business and more importantly themselves.
Buying In To Your MLM Company Begins With Active Participation
One of the most important pieces of successfully building your business is active participation in the business. Active participation in your business really takes on two primary functions. The first function is business building activities and the second is personal development activities. Business building activities are those daily steps that you have committed to take in order to build a business with your MLM company. Your participation has to move beyond mere goals and wish lists. A true business builder gets very specific when it comes to their level of participation and what that participation looks like. The effort you are willing to put forth towards your business shows the degree to which you have truly bought into that company. For example, a distributor who makes 25 phone calls per day, leads 2 webinars and spends time developing an online presence is demonstrating their buy in through both the expenditures of time and effort. In addition the regular, ongoing purchase of business building tools and the company’s products further demonstrate this active participation.
The second area of participation is in the area of personal development. An MLM distributor who has not fully bought into the rarely takes advantage of training or other resources that will help them build solid entrepreneurial skills and a business builder mindset. A distributor who refuses to take part in these things is not only out of the loop for updates from their MLM company, but they are also setting themselves up for failure. Those who seek to learn, will find themselves leading the pack in the development of their business. This occurs because they are the first to know what is going on within their company and they are staying current on the effective business building strategies being used by others.
You Set A Precedent When You Are Unwilling To Buy In To Your MLM Company
Growing your network marketing business involves inviting others to participate in that business as well. When you refuse to buy in to your MLM company, you send an immediate message to your prospects that this business is now worthy of their time, money or effort. When someone does join your business it is unlikely that they will stay long, simply because you have set the tone.
When you buy in to your MLM company, you demonstrate confidence in the business to your prospects and team members.
