Does a Good MLM Business Opportunity Have to Be Sexy?

It seems lately that people have been lured into the thinking that flashier is better when it comes to finding a good MLM business opportunity. I for one, tend to be somewhat counter-cultural. I prefer Lou Ferrigno as The Incredible Hulk. I’ll never settle for anyone other than Lorne Greene as Commander of the Battlestar Galactica. Don’t even get me started on Star Wars the animated series!!!!

When it comes to good MLM business opportunities I prefer things that are time tested and proven in ebb and flow of our world. In my own business I’ve chose three primary companies that at first glance, may not appear very sexy. Their names do not shoot across Twitter like wildfire. I don’t receive Facebook spam with their links, and there are no gurus telling me I’m about to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime.

Here’s what my businesses bring to the table. In my mind these are the things that truly count.

Real products that real people use – home cleaning solutions, automotive care solutions and cosmetics
Name recognition – no one has to explain who these companies are or what they do
Longevity – two of the three have been doing business for over 100 years and the third has been around for nearly 40
Possible for anyone – a person could start a business with any of these companies for less than $15

I know that I will not awaken some morning to read about legal actions against my companies. I know that I can pick up the telephone and talk to live people in their home office. I know that I don’t have to apologize when I show others these MLM business opportunities.

My MLM business may not be sexy, but it is time tested and proven.
