One24 has garnered a great deal of attention since it came to market last fall. Boasting a radical new MLM compensation model and the tenure and success record of the company founder, this company has garnered some widespread attention in spite of a competitive field of nearly 4,800 health and wellness players. So what is the One24 MLM opportunity really all about and what advantages are there for you the prospective distributor?
One24 Founder Mark Seyforth
One24 founder Mark Seyforth is a veteran of the direct sales industry. His successes include the development and launch of ”Slender Now” in the late 1970′s. Mark led this company to enroll over 160,000 distributors and produce over 100 million in sales over a 3 year period. In addition, under Mark’s leadership, The Right Solution Inc. reached over $1 million per month in sales under his leadership. Mark is also credited with the development and implementation of the compensation plan at Herbalife. With Mark’s track record of successful endeavors within the network marketing industry, many observers believe that he will be able to achieve results that are equally as impressive. For a prospective One24 distributor the experience of Seyforth should be seen as a definite asset to overall health of the company.
The One24 Compensation Plan
The “One24″ compensation plan is one of the biggest reasons people are looking at this opportunity. This MLM compensation plan is a linear plan, meaning that it operates in a straight line. Each distributor is given 24 green tickets. When a person signs up with a distributor they are put on a waiting list. Each month the distributor is allowed to exchange one green ticket to remove one person from their waiting list and place them into their downline as a preferred customer. This individual will be coded green to the distributor from that point forward as will their recruits. This is where the name One24 is derived from. One preferred customer is added each month for a period of 24 months. The marketing principle behind the waiting list is the psychological yearning people develop for things they are not allowed to have immediately. In addition to the monthly redemption of a green ticket, those above the distributor are coded silver and will be making placements below the distributor. Recruits of silver level downline members will also be coded silver. Compensation is paid from both green and silver levels as well as two additional bonus pools that are based on genealogy and production volume.
The One24 Product
One24 offers one product, called NatraBurst is touted as being a super food. Each serving of NatraBurst contains the equivalent of 6 servings of fruits and vegetables. Each distributor is required to make an MLM autoship purchase of at least one container of NatraBurst each month. Each container has approximately 30 servings of product. The approximate cost of the autoship is $69. This means that a distributor will need to generate approximately $828 per year to break even.
There are a couple of challenges that any prospective One24 distributor will need to consider. The first challenge is the fact that this is a long term systematic business model. It will be difficult for a prospective distributor to generate any type of sizable income in their first few months. The next challenge is marketplace saturation. In the world of network marketing companies, there are approximately 4,800 other companies specializing in health and wellness products. It remains to be seen whether the product or business model is distinctive enough to create a substantial market place niche. Lastly, even with a great product and compensation plan, a prospective distributor will still need to learn the fundamentals of growing a profitable network marketing business. This will include such key areas as promotion, lead generation, presentation, follow up and replication.
One24 does offer some interesting features that will be proven successful or detrimental in due time.
