7 Minute Workout Review
I was introduced to 7 Minute Workout in March, when I became a beta tester for the program. I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life, couple that with the relative inactivity of being an online marketer and needless to say, I needed to make some life changes. When I was introduced to the concept one Saturday morning in March, there was no question whether I would become a beta tester for 7 Minute Workout. For me, the opportunity to get proactive with my health and make money at the same time seemed like a win-win situation. Over the past 3 months, I have seen my chest size drop by 3″, my thighs have decreased by over 2″ and my waist has decreased nearly 2″. In addition, I have also dropped nearly 10 pounds of body weight.
The premise of “7 Minute Workout” is pretty straight forward and simple. New members begin by filling out a fitness profile that scores them from beginner to advanced. The profile also determines if the individual has access to weight equipment or will be working out at home utilizing personal resistance exercises. Once the profile is completed the individual is given a series of 5 workouts that are completed over a 10 day period. Each workout is demonstrated through video instruction and demonstration of each exercise. Users can change their fitness profile as they see improvement in their conditioning to move up to high intensity workouts. In addition to the exercise coaching, there is also a food tracker that assigns fit credits to their daily food intake and tracks the remaining fit credit balance. Users can also participate in the larger 7 Minute Workout community through blogs, forums and groups.
Joel Therien and Chris Reid – Creators of 7 Minute Workout
I was already familiar with Joel Therien because of his GVO hosting company and GVO Conference, the conferencing software I use in my business. Just looking at Joel, you know that he knows a little something about fitness. To put it mildly, the guy has got some guns on him. In reality, it goes much deeper than that. Earlier in life, Joel was a competition, natural body builder, placing as high as 6th in world competitions. He also holds a degree in Exercise Physiology and has done personal training for many years. Joel’s partner in 7 Minute Workout is Chris Reid. Chris was formerly and international Tae Kwon Do competitor and still continues to coach other competitors to this day. Both Joel and Chris have used a 7 Minute Workout strategy in their own training for years.
The 7 Minute Workout Business
7 Minute Workout is based on the principal of positive momentary muscle failure. This simply means that a muscle group is worked out to the point of momentary failure. That muscle group is then given 10 days to rest, allowing for the rebuilding process to take place. The end result is muscle growth, which leads to a higher number of calories burned, even at rest.
7 Minute Workout is not just a great fitness program, but the company has developed a lucrative compensation plan as well. The company uses a binary MLM compensation plan that pays infinite levels deep. The pay plan comprises of two primary components, fast start bonuses and team cycle bonuses. Fast start bonuses are paid for personnel referrals and on the referrals of your MLM downline. These bonuses begin at $20 per personal referral and increase as you move through the 5 levels of the business builder program. The second component of the compensation plan is the team cycle bonus. These bonuses are paid on a 4/2 split. Each cycle bonus is $20 per cycle.
Currently 7 Minute Work is in a business builder phase. The company is actively looking for new fitness consultants before making a large public thrust. The company hopes to go head to head with the leaders in the weight loss and fitness industries.
