A Reality Check For People Wanting To Build A Business Online

build a business onlineA Reality Check For People Wanting To Build A Business Online

“I want to build a business online.”

That’s how begins…

…the dream of working from home in your pajamas

….cup of  coffee on the desk

…cat in your lap

…dog on the floor beside you

As you open your email you are greeted with…

Commission notifications!!!!

How cool is that…

…making money even while you sleep.

Sadly takes an abrupt turn…

…”I’m not a very technical person”

…”I  didn’t know I would need _____________”

…”I can’t afford those tools”

…”I just need someone to hold my hand”

and so the pity-party excuse train leaves the station.

So how did we go from the entrepreneurial dream to the excuse express?

This is where the reality check comes in…

If you are going to build a business online, you are going to have to:

  1. Learn the skills
  2. Build the foundation
  3. Invest in the infrastructure

When you refuse to do these things you are broadcasting one message to the world….

FAILURE

The truth is, you have already failed before you have even started…

….You are advertising to the world that you are not the leader to follow….think about it:

  1. You are setting the example of not investing in your business
  2. You are setting the example of not learning your craft
  3. You are setting the example of non-commitment

What do you think the results of this example will be?

ZERO, ZILCH, NADA

The mailbox will remain empty…

Every program will end in failure….

Everyone else will be making money except you….

The problem isn’t the program….the problem is the person in the mirror.

I know this stings for some of you…in fact some of you may be down right mad

GOOD!

If it causes you to re-evaluate the way you are approaching your business…

…I’ve done my job!

If you are going to build a business online….you must:

  1. Equip yourself with the proper tools
  2. Equip yourself with the proper knowledge
  3. Treat your business as the most valuable possession you have

Here are the resources I mentioned above….

…don’t miss the opportunity to build the dream
