I was participating in the weekly Affiliate Funnel webinar last night (which is free by the way to allAffiliate Funnel members...which is also free, you can sign up here)and much of our conversation last night dealt with the issue of branding.

If you spend much time surfing the traffic exchanges, you'll notice a common theme. You see many of the same websites over and over again. The reason is simple, most marketers are only promoting their affiliate or MLM company replicated website.

Sadly, there are hundreds of people replicating identical sites. There is nothing that sets them apart from everyone else. Let's be honest, people don't buy company or product....they buy from those they trust.

You need focus on branding yourself. Be the purple cow that stands out in the minds of the people...the one thing that is different in the field of replicated sites. You want people to remember your name and your face. Repeated exposure to you makes the difference.

Donald Trump is a great example of someone who has branded himself. People take in an interest in what he does, simply because they believe he is knowledgeable in business.

You don't have to know it all to be an expert, you simply need to know just a little more than someone else.
